MARY’S SAUTED CRAB CAKES

1 lb. lump crabmeat
¼ cup diced red pepper
¼ cup chopped green onions
1 egg
1 Tbsp. Tabasco
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cup Panko bread crumbs
2 cups olive oil

In a bowl, add egg, Tabasco, Worcestershire and mayonnaise. Whisk and blend. Add red peppers and green onions. Fold in crabmeat. Form mixture into balls of desired portions and dredge in breadcrumbs to coat the outside pressing into round cakes. In sauté pan, heat oil to medium heat and sauté cakes turning to brown both sides and heat throughout.
