SHRIMP AND SCALLOP SKEWERS WITH HONEY/SOY GLAZE

Soy/Honey Glaze:

2 cloves minced garlic
½ cup olive oil
1 tsp. dry ginge
½ cup honey
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
Juice of ½ lime
1 tsp. olive oil
Mix all ingredients over low gas heat until mixture slightly thickens.

Shrimp and Scallop Skewers:

Shrimp (21-25 count)
Onion, chopped
Scallops (30-40 count)
Black and white sesame seeds
Bell pepper, chopped

Skewer 1 shrimp passing through the thick portion and tail. Add either chopped onion or bell pepper. Repeat until 4 shrimp are skewered alternating with onion or bell pepper. Repeat process with scallops on skewers. Lightly brush with the glaze and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Place skewers glaze side down on heated gas grill. Continue brushing and turning every few minutes until shrimp and scallops are thoroughly cooked.
