¼ cup corn oil

2 tsp. grated ginger

1 lb. sushi-grade tuna

¼ cup chopped cilantro

1 tsp. minced jalapeno

1 tsp. toasted sesame seeds

1 Tbsp. finely chopped scallions

1 ½ Tbsp. lime juice

Hawaiian sea salt and freshly ground pepper

1 avocado, diced

 

Combine all ingredients except avocado. Layer with avocado and top with toasted sesame seeds. Makes 3-4 servings as an appetizer.
