Kingfisher Cheese Grits

Ingredients

Grits:

½ cup of CND Cornmeal or grits to 2 cups of water

Pinch of salt

Cheese sauce:

Quarter of a yellow onion, diced

Salt and pepper with onion

Garlic

1/4 stick butter

2 teaspoons of canola oil

1/3 cup flour

1 Cup milk

1/4 teaspoon of mustard powder

½ teaspoon cajun seasoning

Cheese

Hot sauce and Nutmeg to taste

Instructions:

Stir sauce until thickens. Mix cheese sauce with grits.
